Band Info:

Die Happy is a German-based rock/pop/alternative band from Ulm. The group was founded in 1993 by Czech singer Marta Jandová and Thorsten Mewes. Even though the band is based in Germany, their songs are written and performed almost exclusively in English.

Jandová provides additional vocals on the song "Undivided" from Dog Eat Dog's 2006 release, Walk With Me, "Horizont" from In Extremo's album Mein Rasend Herz and "Wie weit/How far" from Apocalyptica's self-titled album. She is also featured on "Träumst du" from OOMPH!'s album GlaubeLiebeTod, the winning entry for the 2007 Bundesvision Song Contest.

I acquired this DVD through a ‘trade’, but the authoring was (IMHO!) awful. I therefore reauthored
it using TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6.23.73 (chapters + animated menu).

The aspect ratio is widescreen although this was not embedded into the original encodes, you’ll have to adjust that on playback.

In extracting the video and audio from the original disc it became apparent that there are a couple of glitches where
a few frames were somehow dropped, I guess during the original authoring from the look of the original VOBS.
I have fixed these as best as I could, but they are (a little) noticeable during ‘Anthem’ and ‘I Tried To Leave You’.
Also the guy who recorded this missed the very opening of ‘I’m Your Man’, likely because he was changing the tape.

That said, he did a pretty good job encoding the video and audio from the tapes.

Artwork (DVD case cover) is included.

Notes:

I decided to make a 24Bit Disc. As most as you know, CD is limited to 16/44.1 and i didn´t want a DVD-Audio, cause most people
(including myself) have no player for this format. So what to do? Wikipedia told me, that DVD-Video Discs can also handle 24Bit
Audio streams. There are lots of One-Click solutions which create this for you, simply filling the Video Track with a black screen.

But i think that is not worth these fine recordings some people do and their effort to make them available. So i made some sort of
"digital booklet" for this tracks. I tried my very best to put the lyrics in the video, so that you can read what is been sung.
Unfortunately i could not find any lyrics for track one, but most others have them - sometimes the singing differs from the original lyrics,
but i took the original ones (as not native english speaker i´m not able to understand everything). Longer parts of instrumental are
filled with photos from this concert.

I do this first for my personal enjoyment, but i think some others are maybe interested in this. Artwork is included.
